Project Summary

The initial year of the Spirit of the Land Festival. Given the worst drought in 100 years a local Committee formed to provide heart and spirit to the community and provide a much needed financial boost to the local economy. An Opening Showcase of local performers, farmers sculptures competition, scarcrow competition, arts, crafts,painting, pottery, quilting and mosaic exhibitions, sheep races ( yes sheep races ) and a gala bush dinner and dance culminated over 3 days of outstanding community involvement and support.
